The NMSB II (shown with an optional gate arm and integrated guard booth) provides vehicle entry point and vehicle access control security. This barrier is certified by the Department of State to stop a 15,000-pound vehicle traveling at 50 mph. The barrier opening is 10' (3.05 meters). In the up position, the top of the barrier is 32" (83.8 cm) above the road surface. Other widths are available for these perimeter barriers, including configurations for bi-directional roads. This barrier can be operated manually without the aid of hydraulics or electric motors.

Applications:

• All major points of entry
• Areas where ease of installation and cost-efficiency are important
• Areas where it is not feasible to utilize below-ground high security vehicle barriers due to bedrock, high water tables, underground piping, cables or communication lines
• Areas with a high threat security level such as embassies, military bases, airports, nuclear facilities, corporate headquarters or industrial complexes
