The NMSB III is one of our shallow excavated high security vehicle barriers (only 16 inch depth is needed) for high threat security facilities and is certified by the Department of State to stop a 15,000-pound vehicle traveling at 50 mph. The high security vehicle barriers opening ranges from 10' to 20' (3.05 meters to 6.07 meters) depending on the model. In the up position, the top of the barrier is 33" (83.8 cm) above the road surface. This barrier can be operated manually without the aid of hydraulics or electric motors depending on the model.

The NMSB III-b is a single-buttress, shallow excavated barrier for severe-threat and access control security facilities. The NMSB III-b is certified to stop a 15,000-pound vehicle traveling at 50 mph. The standard barrier opening is 10' (3.05 meters). In the up position the top of the barrier is 33" (83.8 cm) above the road surface. Hot-dip galvanized for years of service. EPA approved, self-contained attached housing unit. Standard barrier deployment time is 3-5 seconds (available 1.5 second E-up option) at an average of 8 full cycles per minute. Manual Operation is eased w/o the aid of hydraulics or electric. NO weight restrictions. Traffic Lights and Gatearms may be integrated within existing buttress(es). Custom sizes and configurations are available.

The NMSB III-c is a double-buttress, shallow excavated barrier for severe-threat security facilities. The NMSB III-c is certified to stop a 15,000-pound vehicle traveling at 50 mph. The standard barrier opening is 10' (3.05 meters). In the up position the top of the barrier is 33" (83.8 cm) above the road surface. Hot-dip galvanized for years of service.
