The NMSB VII series of high security vehicle barriers are a shallow excavated for high to intermediate threat security facilities. The NMSB VII is engineer certified to stop a 10,000-pound vehicle traveling at 50 mph. The average barrier opening is 10' (3.05 meters). In the up position the top of the barrier is 28" (71.1 cm) above the road surface. Other widths are available, including configurations for bi-directional roads. This barrier can be operated manually without the aid of hydraulics or electric motors.

Shallow Excavated - Medium Threat - Single or Double Lane Barrier:

• Traffic clearance from 10 to 24 feet (One or two lanes wide)

The NMSB VII-a is a single-buttress, shallow excavated barrier for medium threat security facilities. The NMSB VII-a will stop a 10,000-pound vehicle traveling at 50 mph. The average barrier opening is 10' (3.05 meters). In the up position the top of the barrier is 28" (71.1 cm) above the road surface. Hot-dip galvanized for years of service. EPA approved, self-contained attached housing unit. Standard barrier deployment time is 3-5 seconds (available <1 second E-up option) at an average of 8 full cycles per minute. Manual Operation is eased w/o the aid of hydraulics or electric. NO weight restrictions. Traffic Lights and Gatearms may be integrated within existing buttress(es). Custom sizes and configurations are available.
