 The NMSB XI is a surface mounted barrier for intermediate to low threat security facilities. The NMSB XI is engineer certified to stop a 4,000-pound vehicle traveling at 30 mph. The average barrier opening is 10' (3.05 meters). In the up position the top of the barrier is 20" (50.8 cm) above the road surface. Like our full line of perimeter barriers, other widths are available, including configurations for bi-directional roads.
Medium to Low Threat - Surface Mounted "Mini" Barrier:
- Surface mounted or excavated and only requires 6" deep pads
- Ideal for Wide or Multi-lane roadways (extends from 14' to 24')
- Hot-dip galvanized
- Powered/manual operation
